The South Lake Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals Committee named Ben Homan their July Member of the Month.
Homan is the founder of Skillful Antics, a web design and online marketing company, with locations in Clermont, Fla. and Nashville, Tenn. Skillful Antics began as a small graphic design practice in Minneola, Fla. in 2008.
In 2011, Skillful Antics shifted from a graphic design practice to a web development firm, and fully rebranded itself in 2014 as a full-service creative agency specializing in online marketing, web development, graphic design, and multi-media production. Homan’s newest project is a program called HashBed. Once it is launched, HashBed will help small businesses take advantage of social media through the use of analytics so they can better communicate with their audiences.
Homan is also involved in philanthropy through Priority One Worldwide, a non-profit that he and his wife, Jaimie, founded five years ago. Priority One Worldwide focuses on supporting orphans and evangelists around the world and is currently working in Myanmar, Tanzania, Indonesia, Haiti, Hong Kong and India. Recently licensed with the Child Placement Agency in Florida, Priority One Worldwide is working on acquiring Hague accreditation in order to facilitate international adoptions.
